• Determine the corporation's name, reserve, and file
• Draft and record onboarding Articles of Incorporation(SOS California)
• Appoint/Vote the Board of Directors
• Prepare statutes (BYLAWS) and conflict-of-interest policy.
• Take the initial actions of the Board of Directors with a 1st meeting.
• Get an Employer Identification Number (EIN)(SS4)(IRS)
• Register the initial California Charitable Foundation Registry form with the Attorney General's Office (Registry of Charitable Trusts)(Form 3500) (California)
• Register the Statement of Information with the California Secretary of State(Form 100 SI)
• Apply for Federal Tax Waiver through the Internal Revenue Service
• Apply for California tax exemption through the Franchise Tax Board
